No Solo this morning!
Arriving at the shed I see the 2 little ones going around in circles in the chicken coop and calling out, but no Solo?
I get behind the coop and open the wooden door to their nest…no Solo.
I walk around the fence, not a feather, not a hole or a crack in the fence to slip in… How did he get out? could it have been stolen?
A fox would have killed the 3 guinea fowls and we would have found some feathers. But there is nothing. Not a clue.
When the heat drops in the evening, I’ll go around the sheep fence, see if anyone’s sheared a passage.
Geoff hasn’t had any lunch. he’s gone to lie down. He is gutted.
